EMERALD GREEN COACHING AND COMMUNICATION

I have a clinical background as a speech and language therapist and I work with children and young people with autism. I am HCPC registered and a member of the Royal College of Speech and language Therapists. I have significant experience and expertise in neuro-developmental assessments for a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder. These assessments are offered in collaboration with skilled and experienced colleagues. I have a Diploma in Life Coaching, accredited by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body.

I have experience of working in health, social care, education and the voluntary sectors. I have many years of management experience, managing large teams of diverse health staff and have held the role of CQC registered manager. I now undertake diagnostic assessments for children and young people who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder.

 

I have a BSc in Speech Therapy, an MA in Linguistics in Education and have completed a Certificate in Health and Social Services Management. I have also completed additional training in areas related to autism and communication and maintain my Continuing Professional Development portfolio. 

 

I have been a National Autistic Society accredited Early Bird Plus parent programme facilitator/trainer. I am trained to use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and have extensive experience of using this assessment as part of a team with children and young people across the age span over a period of many years. I am also trained in the administration of the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO). I can offer independent assessments in collaboration with other skilled and experienced colleagues.
